Umahi asserted that Tinubu’s governance and current infrastructural initiatives nationwide have consistently garnered support from Nigerians, complicating the efforts of opposition figures to contest his political position.

The former governor of Ebonyi State stated that the administration’s accomplishments in road construction and other critical sectors would enhance popular confidence in the President prior to the upcoming general election.

He asserted that political leaders had to be evaluated according to their performance and dedication to national development, emphasising that Tinubu’s record in office is self-evident.

Umahi minimised apprehensions on the increasing opposition coalitions in anticipation of the 2027 elections, conveying confidence that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will maintain substantial support nationwide.

He stated that no opposing candidate in the 2027 presidential race can rival President Bola Tinubu’s accomplishments and performance.

He asserts that the effects of the President’s policies and development initiatives will become increasingly apparent in the forthcoming years, bolstering his prospects for re-election.
