A few days after Tyla’s December concert in Lagos was announced, the “South Africa thinks we’re fools” campaign began.
Additionally, South Africa was accused by online users of preventing Nigerian musicians from entering the nation.
Tyla’s unwillingness to speak out against the attacks on her platforms prompted many Nigerians, including celebrities, to endorse the social media campaign that was launched on Wednesday.
“If you stand for anything or not, good for you, but if you go for that Tyla’s show then you are a bastard,” wrote well-known OAP Do2dtun on X.
